Information

I am available for children and family portrait commissions at your home or venue of choice. The portfolios show some examples of my style of working - from informal interior and exterior shots using available light (weather permitting) to informal and formal studio lit shots in the home environment or against a variety of portable but large coloured paper backgrounds. Styling is all important to achieving a simple but strong look to the pictures...outfits and colour schemes can be discussed beforehand.
I also photograph births in hospitals/ births centres and private homes for Prima Baby magazine - a leading National Magazines Ltd UK publication. This experience has lead me to undertake occasional private commissions for birth photography. Further information available on request.

Prices

(All prices include VAT @ 17.5%)

Fees for a photography session vary from £ 125 to £ 250. They generally take between 1 and 3 hours depending on the age and number of children/family present and the style required. This price includes my travel time (within an hour or so from north London but mileage is charged at 45p/mile. A total cost (excluding prints) can be provided after initial discussions. Minimum payment of £125 is due in advance to secure the booking.

I work with 35mm digital cameras and will place an edited selection of photographs from the session onto a private online web gallery for you and your family to view in your own time.

Prints

Prints are resin coated machine prints and are borderless with a choice of a matt or glossy finish. They will be sent loose and unmounted for you to arrange in your own frames or albums as you please. All images are available in colour or black and white.
Prints may be ordered at the following prices:
5" x 7.5" £ 10.00
6" x 9" £ 14.00
8" x 12" £ 18.00

All these are full frame sizes ie. none of the image is cropped out in the printing stage. Other bespoke sizes are available on request - such as 10" x 8" provided there is space around the subject to crop the image by 2 inches.
P & P (Recorded delivery) will be added at cost. Payment for prints is due in full at the time of placing an order. Order forms will be brought to the session.
Prints ordered within 2 weeks of appearing online will be eligible for a 10% discount.
Referrals to friends are gratefully appreciated and if a session is booked by a friend you will be entitled to a free 9" x 6" print from your own session.

Canvas Prints

A single image printed on to canvas and stretched on to a 3/4" thick frame which can be hung directly onto a wall space.
